This royally crowned beauty brings a gorgeous flash of color to the lush greens surrounding Sugar Maple at Hansen Lake. Not to be confused with the similarly purpled House Finch, this species’ colorful head is more completely helmeted with the hue, and is a frequent guest at Sugar Maple’s birdfeeders.
